In the past 2 years we have invested in a new purpose-built production facility, transformed our digital architecture, opened new flagship stores and had our biggest product launch in company history and we’re not stopping there. The role This role is responsible for delivering best-in-class digital products to the Brompton consumers. Brompton is experiencing high levels of growth, especially in the e-commerce arena, and our ability to meet the consumer demands is determined on our ability to transform as an organisation. To facilitate this, Brompton is going through major systems change, with the goal of empowering the business to use technology as an enabler of growth, rather than an hinderance. This role requires significant experience in delivering digital products related to global omnichannel e-commerce. The ability to think strategically is key, balancing the company’s technical capability to get the best possible results today Vs the future capability, communicating clearly the roadmap to stakeholders. Agile methods are perfectly suited to this environment; therefore, you will be a champion of Agile delivery. Implementing standards internally and with suppliers to ensure a unified methodology of working that enables maximum value to be driven through each release. Passionate about User Centered Design (UCD), you will balance the needs of the consumer with the needs of the business to strike the correct balance, ensuring the maximum ROI. You will work closely with external UX and technology consultants to turn the product backlog into reality. You will then transform these requirements through a project plan and technical brief and work with internal and external teams to deliver the projects. You will own and have full accountability for the high-quality delivery of the platforms. The Person The person in this role must take a careful and logical approach to decision making and ensure that all the necessary information is accurate and readily available. They will be expected to provide the best possible solutions to problems that may arise or decision making by testing things and trying alternatives to route. The successful candidate will seek to continuously seek to improve the quality of the service provided and remain rational when dealing with others until the problem at hand can be resolved. The ideal person will ensure they always adhere to the business requirements and attain and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. The person fulfilling this role will be required to provide support and practical advice to those in need of assistance and ensure they set clear objectives and monitor progress while taking corrective action to control performance levels. They must encourage a culture of strategic excellence across the team and ensure all dealings are conducted in a professional manner. The person will be capable of working in technical area of expertise and enjoy challenging situations and have the persistence to see a job through to conclusion. They will have an acute attention to detail, ensuring quality and standards are met while reducing errors to a minimum, methodical, self-starter, objective and inquisitive. Standard operating procedures and clearly defined guidelines are important to the role. Key Responsibilities: The development of consumer facing digital products – primarily leading the teams to design, deliver, maintain, and measure key improvements for customers journeys on an international level on , the e-commerce part of , the consumer APP and CRM systems. The products must deliver requirements for the prospect, purchaser and owners in equal portion on an international scale. Identify and collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the product vision from a business and technical perspective, formulating plans to deliver and ensuring they are kept informed on progress. Collect and deliver clear and measurable user stories/tasks/features and work with various teams, such as Solutions Architects, UX designers and Data Analysts to define a solution. Plan delivery of features with stakeholders, delivery teams, owning the product backlog. Track progress of team's commitment to deliver, communicating clearly to stakeholders on status and maintain the product roadmap. Build product KPI reports that feed directly into the roadmaps that measure ROI and identify problems/gaps in the customer journeys. Build and ensure quality standards are continuously met and monitored. Essential Experience: Must have at least 4 years’ experience in delivering digital products using Agile Methods. Must have demonstrable experience building and delivering consumer centric transactional websites and apps on a global scale, understanding the challenges in different countries ensuring the appropriate regulations are adhered to. Must have end-to-end knowledge of e-commerce, click and collect models and how ERP influences it. Must have deep understanding of the digital landscape. Must have knowledge and understanding of DevOps. Must have deep knowledge of GDPR and how to design requirements to the regulation. Must have significant experiencing managing risks, budgets and people. Essential Skills Must have the ability to communicate between the technical and non-technical. Must have the ability to maintain delivery momentum to acceptable quality standards. Must have strong supplier management and negotiation skills. Must have meticulous attention to detail. Qualifications Training in Agile methods and/or formal Project Management Prince2. Training in Digital Product Management.
