My client are a successful legal firm based in Central London. They are looking for a Finance Systems Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities include:

 Logging, responding to and resolving finance systems issues and queries

 Trouble-shooting data issues

 Liaising with internal stakeholders including overseeing the resolution or

escalation of any reported issues

 Responsible for logging and tracking issues with product vendor

 Assist with ensuring data accuracy within the firm’s PMS system (Aderant)

and consistency with integrated systems

 Ad-hoc data entry and correction tasks

 Training internal stakeholders on financial processes

 Assist with matter and employee inception

 Maintenance of report schedules and security delivered via SQL Server

Reporting Studio (SSRS)

 Documenting and/or developing ad-hoc report and business analysis


 System and report testing

 Provide assistance in project work involving implementing new systems and

upgrades/developments of existing systems

 Taking minutes of projects meetings and updating project logs

 Other administrative duties.

Personal Specification

Education/ Qualification

 Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, including English and Maths grades

A-C (or equivalent)

 ICT or equivalent GCSE or A-Level (desirable but not essential)

Knowledge and technical ability

Experience of working in a support role, ideally within legal/professional

services (desirable but not essential)

 Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and other relevant IT systems

 Analytical and logical problem solving skills

 Knowledge of SQL scripting (desirable but not essential)

 Ideally has experience of working within a busy, deadline driven, environment

 Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise

 Excellent written and oral communication skills, including grammar, spelling and


 Has a keen interest to develop knowledge and broaden their skill base to

contribute to the business
