I am currently looking for a Technology & Customer Services Trainer to join a utilities company based in Wiltshire. The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring that colleagues from across the business are supplied with the best knowledge and training to support customers in making the right decisions regarding their energy provider.


  • Design and deliver training across technical and customer services subject areas to a range of colleagues
  • Define training requirements throughout the business and any areas that need additional training support
  • Design training materials and training sessions
  • Work in alignment with the wider Learning & Development function to ensure training represents L&D objectives and delivers against key business projects
  • Embed yourself in the business culture and make sure this is represented in all training activity
  • Keep up to date with the latest training trends and techniques for maximising training effectiveness
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the business

Essential skills:

  • Experience within a utilities company or similar corporate environment would be beneficial
  • Skilled at delivering a wide range of training across multiple colleague departments
  • Ability to develop engaging training materials
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive in looking to continuously improve your skillset and new methods of supporting training requirements
  • Ability to approach problems with a solution focussed attitude
