Job Title: Design & Marketing Assistant

Location: Marden, Kent

Salary: £20,000 - £26,000 (dependent on experience)

Summary of Position:

We have a great opportunity for a Design & Marketing Assistant to join our client who is focused on becoming the world leading brand in high quality cutting tools for metalwork.Established in 2013, they are a small but dynamic company dedicated to rapid growth and new product innovation. They are looking for a Design & Marketing Assistant to primarily artwork design with additional requirement to assist with general marketing duties.

An exciting opportunity for a flexible and ambitious individual to join a small but fast growing team, to gain experience in a varied role incorporating Design, Marketing & Sales. There will also be a requirement to provide backup to the customer service team with processing orders placed via email, phone and website.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Marketing Assistance:

  • Use Adobe Creative Suite programmes to design and create marketing materials for use on Website, Social Media, Email & Print formats. Projects include Flyers, Annual Catalogues, Infographics, product data sheets, labels, stickers exhibition materials etc
  • Work to the brand guidelines established to ensure consistency with external marketing agency
  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing Manager & Design agency to provide design concepts and content
  • Assist with monitoring, maintaining and posting across social media channels
  • Develop & Maintain a media & image library
  • Work with 3rd party videographers & photographers
  • Maintain, optimise & Improve images & copy on the website
  • Plan and assist project management of events & exhibitions
  • Organise content and maintain website information

Customer Services/Internal Sales:

  • Provide 2nd line receptionist cover to the internal sales team
  • 2nd Line order processing via email, phone or website
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records

Key Candidate Attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Versatile & Flexible - able to multi-task
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Are a strong team player
  • Can work under pressure to tight deadlines

Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
