The Role

As a Test, Release and Environments Manager you will be responsible for a growing a dynamic team of Test professionals for the country’s leading cruise provider.

The purpose of Test, Release and Environments Manager at Carnival UK (CUK) is to reduce the risk in project delivery and to maximise the return that CUK receives from its investments in change projects, while being accountable for ensuring that CUK Technology enabled change projects and programmes, which are crucial to the enjoyment and safety of our guests and colleagues, deliver at an agreed level of quality and are soundly supported by the right environments and a structured release capability.

You will work across the Technology function and a variety of stakeholders to ensure that we maintain the performance and grow our capacity and capability.

About You

We would expect you to have previous experience of managing Test, Release and Environments activities within large and complex portfolios of delivery that include an IT component. You should have a sound understanding of industry Test, release and Environments standards, techniques and their application in a project environment. We would also expect you to have a solid people leadership experience in a matrix environment.

You will be a people focused professional, who through an adaptive leadership style will naturally develop and support others to reach their potential, while creating and inclusive and engaging environment. You will be a strategic thinker able to influence, motivate and innovate, while prioritising the right things.
