We are currently working with an independent co-educational prep school that caters to both day and boarding pupils in the search for a Music teacher.
The school was initially established as a small private coaching establishment for boys looking to enter Eton College. The school is now a coeducational boarding school that feeds to leading schools throughout the UK. The school's academic results are continually outstanding with pupils feeding to some of the UK's leading public schools.
The school aim's to provide a holistic education, promoting students artistic, sporting, cultural and social development. The pastoral care is central at this school, providing a friendly and nurturing boarding environment. The school is set on over 500 acres of land, with excellent facilities.
We are looking for a Music Teacher to join the school in September 2019, the opportunity to start earlier in August is also a possibility. Music plays a daily part at the school, thorough clubs, music lessons, etc. All pupils participate in communal singing which takes place at the school chapel and in assemblies. All children in the Prep and Pre Prep School participate in a performing arts, involving music and music theory. Children can perform in concerts, competitions, exams and events outside of the school. The school also has peripatetic teachers working alongside full-time Music teachers in the department, offering lessons to a wide variety of instruments. The school also has a variety of choirs throughout the school.
This post is open to both a Music Techer with the possibility of leadership as a Co- Head of Music. The Music teacher also helps pupils gain music scholarships to leading Senior Schools.
