History Teacher Job - St Albans
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a large secondary school in St Albans who are looking for a history teacher on a full time basis to provide maternity cover for up to 1 year from May half term or earlier if available.
The school require a well-qualified teacher of history to teach at all levels including A level in a faculty that achieves excellent results and high standards.
Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative individual to join an outstanding and committed Humanities faculty and will discuss specific subject expertise at interview.
Ideally, a candidate would be able to offer teaching GCSE of another Humanities subject (RE, Geography, Government and Politics, Law, Sociology). There may also be the opportunity to teach PSHE. Exam results in Humanities subjects are consistently significantly above national averages. NQTs are welcome to apply.
Teachers provide outstanding history teaching at the school with generous resources and all teachers have their own classroom which includes a range of interactive technology. History is popular at both GCSE and A-level.
