12-month contract for a Credit Controller to manage international accounts paying £20,000 near Clacton

A unique opportunity for a confident Credit Controller / Finance Clerk to join this team in taking responsibility of their international clients in the collection of outstanding sales invoices.
Your new role
The business operates globally and you will be working in your team of 3 in collection of overdue payments. This will involve more on-line and emailed communication rather than high volume telephone chasing. Your daily duties will involve chasing payments, allocating cash receipts, reviewing status of accounts through to recommending any accounts for legal action. Part of the debt reporting you will update sales reports, checking commission payments and attending meetings to discuss status of these global accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
The core key skills in this role will be credit control in the collection of outstanding payments but as these are international clients, the majority of contact will be via email and on-line portal however you need to have experience of credit collections. You will be confident in writing clear correspondence with accurate follow-up notes to ensure target collection figures are met. You will have a background in finance as you need to understand debits & credits etc. as well as a good level of excel to manage multiple spreadsheets.
