Business overview

Nicholls & Clarke Group is an established business who manufactures, distributes and retails building materials.

Due to business expansion we are looking for a Payroll and Office Administrator to join our friendly Secretarial team full time in Chadwell Heath.

Role responsibilities forPayroll and Office Administrator:

  • Assist the Secretarial Manager with monthly Payroll
  • Deal with all aspects of expenses
  • Upload pension information onto the NEST and Aviva database
  • Process monthly timesheets/report overtime
  • Support day to day general inquiries and build relationships with employees, managers and external vendors
  • Liaise with internal staff to answer queries and on boarding
  • Provide office support for visitors and incoming calls
  • Order office supplies and run weekly errands
  • Assist managers with coordination of internal meetings (Order lunches, book rooms, etc.)
  • Provide Finance/Accounting support as required
  • Other HR/Office Admin support as required

Requirements for the Payroll and Office Administrator:

  • Knowledge of payroll processing and a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with a large scale Payroll/ HR Information Systems
  • Knowledge of Payroll policies and best practices
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (excel, word) to complete Administrator duties
  • A high level of accuracy, retention and confidentiality is essential
  • Problem solving, investigation and analysing abilities
  • Ability to multitask, work to deadlines in a fast-paced work environment, as well as independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build solid working relationships and be a contributing member of the payroll team
