Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Andover

Willing to offer up to £35,000 pa dependent on experience

Primarily Monday to Friday, however weekend work and call-outs will also be included

Full Time - 37.5 hours a week

Our Client are looking for an electrical maintenance engineer to join their ever-growing team in their Andover depot, working to ensure production within the warehouse runs smoothly.

Role Summary:

Working within a team of 5, you will execute effective troubleshooting and planned preventative maintenance routines to prolong the useful life and optimise efficiency of our operational and facilities equipment. One of the key duties of this role is ensuring fast and effective response times to equipment breakdown as well as ensuring maintenance cover for production areas is provided at all times.

  • Carry out repairs on machinery in all areas of our Andover operations as rapidly as possible, liaising with production personnel to minimise response times
  • Make effective and key decisions under pressure
  • Ensure that planned preventative maintenance is carried out correctly in a timely manner
  • Make sure that all repair and maintenance documentation is maintained with full compliance with all regulatory guidelines, GMP, and company Standard Operating Procedures at all times
  • Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness standards are adhered to
  • Identify and recommend improvements, replacements and repairs as appropriate
  • Completing all relevant documentation connected to the relevant tasks conducted

The Ideal Candidate for this Role Should Have:

  • Proven experience in an electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing environment, ideally also including some knowledge of mechanical maintenance
  • This role is primary Monday to Friday; however, weekend work is required as the normal working week runs Sunday to Thursday within the warehouse department. Flexibility is required in shift times and call - outs for preventative maintenance is required
  • The ability to work both as an individual from their own initiative and within a team
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi task
  • Professional, honest with integrity
  • Experience working with a CMMS
  • IT literate, particularly in MS Office applications
  • A knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
