My Client is a successful organisation based within the Dunfermline area. They are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated individual to join their team as an Internal Communications Officer.

This is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, covering Maternity Leave.

Duties will include:

* Delivery of annual Communications plan for the Company, as agreed with Communications Manager UK and management team

* Support creation and delivery of business content for key internal communications channels including video blog, email announcements, intranet, digital screens, internal magazine, internal website, photography etc.

* Support delivery of internal events including all-hands employee meetings twice a year (including liaison on agenda and speakers, production of presentation materials, logistics, etc).

* Coordinate and assist the delivery of all Corporate Communications internal programs, events and practices e.g. branding guidance, campaigns

* Proactively suggest news items for use on corporate internal and external channels

* Participate in the local Corporate Social Responsibility committee and support promotion of their activities

* Public relations: ensure creation of appropriate PR materials and establish contact with local media in particular the Dunfermline Press, in order to promote site achievements externally

* Provide support to the Communications Manager UK and UK Communications team when required

* Responsible for tracking budget spend of the Communications elements, under supervision of Communications Manager UK

To be considered for this position, Candidates must have the following background and skills:

* Previous experience in similar role i.e. Social Media Marketing, Communications Assistant etc.

* Must be a self-starter capable of working alone and as part of a team

* Self-motivated and a willingness to assume accountability for areas of responsibility

* Strong communication and time management skills
