Now Education are currently working with a school in South Birmingham who are seeking a teacher of Design and Technology, specifically Resistant Materials. The school are looking to appoint on a temporary basis to cover a paternity leave. Turther supply placements can be offered at other schools once this role concludes. The school is situated in South Birmingham approximately 25 minutes from the city centre. The school also has close links with the M42 making is accessible for teachers from further afield (Coventry, Bromsgrove etc.)

As you will be required to take on the full teacher role, the school are happy to pay to scale from day one. Not only this, Now Education are happy to pay for a new DBS should you require one.

Our client is a large 11-18 “Good” (Ofsted) school with a reputation for supportive and welcoming department. The Head teacher has also expressed that NQT’s are welcome and that they will support the growth of anyone who displays enthusiasm and passion to work in their school.

The Ideal candidate will have:

* QTS Qualification

* Teach D&T to KS3 & KS4.

* Strong classroom management

* Take on the full teacher role- marking, planning and taking part in extracurricular activities

* Enthusiasm and passion for teaching

* Great subject knowledge

* Ability to form great report with staff and students alike
