Maintenance Planning Supervisor – Based Bradford

Excellent basic salary plus bonus, and extensive benefits

To be considered for this role, candidates must have project software experience in Microsoft Project/Primavera and be able to demonstrate your supervisory/management skills

Candidate

* Ideally degree qualified in an Engineering OR Technical discipline or qualified by experience.

* Extensive knowledge using project software experience in Microsoft Project/Primavera

* Proven experience of managing a team within maintenance operation planning

* Able to demonstrate working on your own initiative as well as part of a team

* Excellent communication skills as you will be required to liaise with internal customers and manage their expectations

Duties

* Proven experience of managing a small team of maintenance planners - daily

* Liaise with internal department manager and service suppliers

* Ensure safe working systems and practices are followed, maintaining housekeeping standards, taking responsibility for personal actions and the safety of others

* Ensure personal compliance with all procedures which control the major accident hazards

* Check to ensure detailed Gantt Charts are available for the 51-week plan, including other inspections such as PSSR and tank inspections

* Coordinator and merge plans with projects and production and manage overall schedule

* Liaise with all departments as required including arranging/leading meetings and managing outcomes

* Encourage efficiencies in planned activities and reduce down-time where possible

* Ensure that all maintenance work is recorded accurately using SAP

* Build maintenance plans with your team

* Identify L&D needs for your team and liaise with your direct line manager to identify your own L&D requirements and agree a development plan

* Attend training courses and completion of self-learning packages.

* Support your line manager by ensuring maintenance work is prioritised effectively for all disciplines and that the team remain focused on achieving planned and routine work
