Hardware Procurement Specialist, London UK, 18-month contract

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our established, well known, global brand a Hardware Procurement Specialist.

You will be supporting the Procurement function daily, whilst working in a dynamic, fast paced organisation with a focus on building and delivering leading cloud technologies. This exciting position as a Hardware Procurement Specialist offers you the opportunity to learn and grow your knowledge in all other areas of the team portfolio.

Key Responsibilities of the Hardware Procurement Specialist:

* Monitor and assign incoming requests, using Jira;

* Engage with Engineering stakeholders to support and enable purchasing activities;

* Tracks order and communicate lead times to stakeholders through Jira ticket;

* Review, update, and maintain purchase orders until they are closed;

* Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiency.

Required skills of the Hardware Procurement Specialist:

* Commercial experience in a similar role, clearly demonstrating knowledge in Procurement, ideally Hardware Procurement;

* Advanced use of MS Office Suite;

* Familiarity with issue tracking / CRM / trouble ticketing systems, including Jira;

* Exposure to Cloud software services;

* Knowledge and understanding of the following technologies: Oracle, SAP Platforms and NetSuite.
