Manufacturing Manager – Prototype and Motorsport Milton Keynes Permanent Integral Powertrain – Record Breaking, History Making. Are you an experienced Manufacturing Manager capable of leading a large team of electro-mechanical technicians with the ability to drive a wide range of small to medium volume e-drive build projects? We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead our multi-disciplined workshop team, forecast and plan resources to enable the delivery of a vast array of Prototype and Motorsport electric powertrain manufacturing projects. 2018 was an exceptional year at Integral Powertrain, two of our high-power density Integral e-Drive motors powered the record-breaking run at Pikes Peak in the Rocky Mountains where the times for electric vehicles and the overall speed record were ; Our e-drive technology has not only set new standards in electric powertrain, our motors have been involved in smashing world records and have since been recognised with a multitude of industry awards. Our success is set to continue with new projects beginning with new and existing customers. Our Manufacturing Manager will: - Lead and develop manufacturing supervisors and project manufacturing teams - Forecast budgets, material and resource planning, prioritise work in accordance with deadlines - Plan departmental workload, guaranteeing sufficient resources are available to complete build projects on time and to spec - Ensure that the day to day performance of the manufacturing department is cost effective and project focused with the aim of amazing our customers with on time delivery and high-quality products - Lead the team in developing innovative and consistent manufacturing methods to create high quality products. Help in developing internal quality systems to maintain our high product standards - Continuous improvement of manufacturing operating procedures - Develop and manage KPI’s to improve the efficiency, quality and reliability of the manufacturing team and the products they assemble - Oversee the Health and Safety of the department About You: - Strong experience in a small to medium volume precision manufacturing environment - A relevant practically based mechanical or electrical qualification - Capable of building and developing a high performing, multi-disciplined team - Competent in departmental budgeting, material requirement planning, workload and resource projecting - Accomplished in motivating and driving a team to meet tight deadlines and prioritising tasks - Process driven and open minded in process innovation who can inspire their team to adopt and implement change You may previously have worked as a Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Workshop Manager, Prototype Build Manager If you think you have the skills and experience required to become our Manufacturing Manager, apply now!
