Maintenance Electrician

An opportunity has arisen to work for one of the leading FM Companies as a mobile Maintenance Electrician to work on a well-known establishment.

This role is to operate within the maintenance department working in a mobile role covering multiple sites carrying out planned/reactive works.

Maintenance Electrician role duties include:

To be responsible for the reactive and planned maintenance, M&E plant and basic building fabric work. To include, but not limited to: minor electrical works, electrical testing, fault finding, basic plumbing and carpentry works.
•Replacement Ballasts & Light Fittings
•Replacement Pumps & Inverters
•Fault Finding – Electrical & BMS
•Installation of New Circuits & Equipment
•EICR Remedial Works
•Minor Building Fabric Repairs
•Weekly Fire Alarm Testing
•Weekly Tap Flushing
•AHU Cleaning & Servicing
•Basic Plumbing Repairs

Responsibilities of Maintenance Electrician role include:

•Completion of a weekly timesheet and submit in accordance to the departments procedures
•Provide out of hours call out facility on a rota system
•Provide detailed and accurate reports for any remedial works required whilst attending site
•Updating of on-site log books for compliance purposes
•Assist in the preparation and implementation of emergency contingency plans
•Ensure accurate records appertaining to all planned preventative maintenance and the emergency repairs completed
•Oversee all site activities, both maintenance and project specific and ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures and requirements
•Complete field operative Method Statements and risk assessments as necessary
•Perform all duties in-line with current health and safety legislation and company policy with relevance to safe working practices and the storage of chemicals

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

•City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Engineering to 17th Edition
•2391 Inspection & Testing
•Recognised apprenticeship
•Good communication & interpersonal skills
•Commitment to providing a high quality service to our customer
•willing to work flexibly and as a team member
•Ability to be detail conscious
