Hastings Direct, Change & Continuous Improvement Analyst We are looking for a Change & Continuous Improvement Analyst to join our: Claims Customer Service team, based in our Bexhill office. Responsible for shaping and delivering system changes as part of a cohesive agile team and in line with business strategy.

The Role

·Ownership of assigned projects and change – taking accountability of assigned stories and tasks, working with key stakeholders to ensure any required changes are formally captured and scoped appropriately.

·Delivery of change meeting business needs – ensuring prioritised changes are supported by detailed requirements that meet the needs of the business.

·Support business requests for change – to be a change champion for the business, supporting colleague suggestions and encourage the identification of defects or technical debt.

·Oversight of agile team backlog - Assist in maintaining and prioritising the product and defect backlog

·Continual development / improvement of the claims platform – Identifying technical areas for improvement within the Guidewire platform (or other integrated systems)

·Alignment with the broader claims functions - ensure that items within the product backlog align to the Insurer services strategy to support the team objectives

·Alignment with the organisation wide strategy - ensure that items within the backlog align to the Hastings roadmap and Core Company values.

·Business readiness, including operational team engagement – Supporting the claims functions with upcoming change ensuring that all areas are engaged and prepared in advance.

·Supporting deployments – be accountable for change once in a production environment, being available to troubleshoot any potential issues following implementation.

We’re looking for someone who has:

·Articulation of requirements into detailed specifications

·Excellent influencing skills (both internally and externally)

·Facilitation of requirement gathering sessions

·End to End experience of the agile team delivery

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills


·Knowledge of Claims processes

·Knowledge of Guidewire and the design of

·Knowledge of existing Guidewire Integrated products

·Application of Agile methodology
