Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant
A superb opportunity has arisen for a talented Legal Secretary / Assistant to join the Commercial Property team of a well regarded, progressive regional law firm. The position is full-time and based in Yeovil. The successful candidate will have gained strong experience working as a Legal Secretary for at least the past 12 months - preferably within Commercial Property - although consideration will be given to those individuals with a solid Residential Property law background. Duties will be varied but will include the following: Audio / Copy typing of documents, forms, letters etc (minimum typing speed 60wpm) Undertaking conveyancing searches and completion of SDLT returns, Land Registry and Companies House applications Telephone liaison with clients, dealing with enquiries where possible Maintenance and upkeep of templates and documents Assisting with archived files Opening and closing files The successful individual will enjoy a superb working environment which is friendly and fully supportive in addition to a competitive salary and benefits.
