Software Engineer - Brentwood - up to £60,000

TEC Partners are working on a high-level developer role that is certainly not one to miss if you're open to exploring a new challenge at the moment. Latest Microsoft stack, following modern development methodologies, and working in a progressive environment.

Our client is a well-established, forward-thinking, and successful business who work with some of the most recognisable brands in the UK, particularly within the automotive world. They have an office that affords every member of staff an engaging and enjoyable environment to carry out the duties of their role, with the latest tech and equipment, you'll feel as though you have everything you could ever need at your disposal.

You'll have the chance to work on a variety of projects alongside an established team of developers, utilising the latest technologies in a test driven manner. The business are responsible for delivering high-quality apps to meet the needs of their high-profile clients, so we're looking for someone who can contribute with clean, clean and understandable code to the projects. You'll work on projects from start to finish, liaising with other teams and departments, so we'll need a strong communicator in this role.

The business like to invest in their staff, giving them the platform and resources to pursue new technologies, so if you're someone who loves to keep abreast of the latest developments in app development, then this could be a perfect fit for you.

This is a high-level role, and as such we are looking for candidates with a particular set of skills. You'll be straight to it from day one, so we're looking for candidates who can meet the following criteria:

  • C#, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI
  • Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience of applying Design Patterns, IoC and SOLID
  • Previous track record of developing enterprise scale applications
  • SQL, Azure/AWS and GIT
  • Ability to work with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
