Our Client, a £350m Private Equity backed organisation, is currently looking to diversify its service offerings. As a result of this the company are now looking to strengthen its Finance team further with the hire of an additional Finance Manager.

The purpose of the role is to ensure effective and efficient preparation of the company’s management accounts and in addition, to provide accurate and informative reporting of the company’s performance for the purposes of the Board including assisting in the production of monthly Board reports. The role will also involve working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance to ensure depth of knowledge and experience within the department.

This role would be ideal for somebody looking to take their first steps to owning a month end close process and influence the design and imminent implementation of a new ERP system. The role will have one direct report and will work closely with the other members of the Finance team.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant.
  • Experience of month end reporting.
  • Ideally, prior experience of working both within, both, large and small organisations.
  • Highly numerate with an ability to analyse data, understand the inter-relationship of key drivers, whilst at the same time being commercial with an ability to stand back and understand the wider implications of decisions.
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to plan and deliver their own work and that of their direct reports.
