Digital Marketing and Brand Manager . This is a band new opportunity within a dynamic, forward thinking organisation based in Edinburgh. Working closely with the Managing Director, the main aim of this role is to relaunch the website and optimise digital sales opportunities via on line campaigns. Our client is looking for a brand led marketing professional who has a brilliant background in digital delivery. You’ll have a keen eye for return on investment - a real commercial brain! The day to day r esponsibilities include: Marketing & Brand development – on and off line • Directing and nurturing the look and feel and the tone of voice of the company’s brand online, driving the brand across all platforms, creating brand essence document and brand guidelines and ensuring consistency • Driving and creating a strategy for all consumer marketing activity, both online and offline. • Responsible for all photography to include lifestyle and pack shot photo shoots for web and print, liaising with all external resources as required • Responsibility for the creation of all company wide marketing material; including trade catalogues, flyers, consumer packaging, product flyers etc. • Developing and implementing the trade marketing plan liaising closely with Sales team • Responsible for PR and promotional activity to include events, press and bloggers Online marketing and web site: • Responsibility for the current company site all updates, photography, copy, developments to the site • Responsible for scoping, planning, strategic aims and implementation of a brand new website; as part of wider plans to improve brand image, lifestyle content and e-commerce/shopping function, to launch with new collections / launches in January 2019 • Responsible for the company’s digital marketing strategy (consumer & trade) – seasonally and longer term • Responsibility for delivering all web site sales and database targets and for growing social media following • Development and execution of a new and improved ECRM platform • Manage Digital Marketing Executive in the implementation of marketing strategy, including web updates, collection launches and product listings, social media (including advertising) and email content and campaigns • Managing, supporting and helping prioritise workload of Digital Marketing Executive and any interns • Responsibility of all brand profiles on social media • Drive the design and development of the Online Exclusives range for the company (working with Product Manager) • Responsible for setting and delivering monthly web sales targets (set with Online sales manager, sign off MD) Other • Supporting market research projects to influence NPD and range strategy. • Responsibility for setting and managing the marketing development budget monthly (online and off line), reforecasting as required and ensure its tightly controlled • Attendance at monthly management meeting, creation of monthly report. • Close working with Product Manager and Online Sales Manager where required • Any experience of Amazon marketing would be an advantage • Close working with Managing Director on relevant business development projects The ideal candidate for the Digital marketing and Brand manager role will be: • A senior go-to person in the team who thrives in a fast paced, creative environment • Proven track record of creating successful ecommerce initiatives to drive growth • Ability to use own initiative and think creatively and innovatively to deliver results • Takes ownership, is pro-active, organised and in control, gives others confidence • Ability to drive projects and is comfortable with team work • Able to multi task across different projects • A positive go-to person with a can-do (and will-do) attitude • Excellent verbal and written communication • Ability to give clear direction, is a supportive and approachable leader • As a key member of the senior team is able to input commercially into overall strategy and support others • Proven technical ability to manage the back end of websites • Proven ability to create great on brand content – write copy and guide visual graphics and photography • A genuine passion for consumer marketing and ideally a background in retail. Salary range is open depending on skills & experience £35,000 - £40,000 + benefits.
