Technical Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to work on one of our leading client sites in London. The role will undertake a range of responsibilities that will ultimately enable growth in a variety of key technical business ; The Technical Project Manager will serve as the subject matter expert for the client: maintaining, developing, deploying, and general management of the companies EMEA regional system ; This position will analyze current physical security system requirements and overlay these with business and facility’s needs, and identify opportunities for efficiency and enhanced ; We are seeking a candidate that can offer a strong technical skill set (network and infrastructure) combined with project management skills that possesses an IT scope bias. You will ideally have gained experience from EMEA regional systems, or at the very least, have working knowledge of ; The Technical Project Manager will work in close collaboration with Regional Security Managers, will be responsible for driving the security systems remediation efforts and projects portfolio synergistics with departmental strategies, company priorities and Global Security Standards, demonstrating strong project and vendor management techniques in order to meet business demands. The Technical Project Manager will track security technological advancements and keep Senior Management informed in order to implement industry leading solutions to maximize the value of centralized Security systems across EMEA. Role: Technical Project Manager Location: London Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per ; Salary: Up to £50k Benefits: Full Benefits Package Job Reference: TPM-Apr19 The closing date for applications for this role is: 16/04/19 Key responsibilities: Responsible for the design, architect and deployment of enterprise driven technology platforms and projects, small, medium and large. Maintains strong relationships with internal IT, core technology and departmental stakeholder groups. Uses structured methodology to be able to rapidly produce ‘Rough Order of Magnitude’ costing to support critical budget planning activities. Develops project scopes of work and collaborates closely with external vendors to prepare technology estimates and quotations. Uses effective project management techniques to prioritise and maintain multiple complex technology deployments. Responsible for maintaining system controls in line with and reporting on technological advances to identify efficiencies and minimise security risk exposure to cyber and system data breaches. Responsible for maintaining security system governance aligned with company, industry, legislative and regulatory standards across EMEA. Manages a robust maintenance programme to ensure continuity of all systems components of protective security systems to safeguard employees and its varied entities and affiliates. Manages a product lifecycle programme to manage efficiencies and equipment inventories. Works with Security System Administrators in the support of escalated technical problem resolution. Key skills/ experience required: IT qualification (CISCO, Microsoft, other), project management qualification, LENEL, GENETEC, FLR Requires a proven background working in an IT role. Experience designing/architecting security packages to include CCTV, Access Control and Intruder alarm platforms. Strong project management, programme skills and methodologies. Grounded understanding of SQL database management Requires proven experience in managing and maintaining enterprise IT systems Experience working on break fix, IT system maintenance, fault and resolution Desirable skills/experience: IT experience with a solid working knowledge in IT infrastructure, operating platforms and software solutions, including SAAS & PAAS deployments. Form of PM qualification and a proven background in managing multiple complex projects with varying business critical peaks and deadlines. Understands database topology and key maintenance requirements Ability to navigate through regulatory and industry compliance challenges.
