Jobtitle – Care Manager – Community Living Salary - £ - £ Per Annum depending on experience Hours – Full Time Location – Covering Ruthin to Conwy area About us: ProCare Wales was established in 2001 as a registered provider of care and support services within the community. ProCare Wales’ Head Office is based in Rhyl, Denbighshire and is governed by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW). The Role: We are looking to recruit an energetic and dynamic individual to work autonomously. To fully manage the community living service for individuals with complex care needs who present with challenging behaviours. The person will ensure the provision of high-quality health and social care support within the service, which promotes and protects the rights of individuals within the service to achieve a dignified and meaningful lifestyle, and to ensure that the support given enables individuals to achieve maximum independence. ProCare Wales uses the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis to achieve high quality outcomes for individuals who are supported. You will have achieved your NVQ Level 4 / Diploma Level 5 Managers Award in a Care Setting and also be car driver with own vehicle. We are looking for someone to: To be responsible for all aspects of the organisation and management of the service as the Manager. To ensure that all staff work within the organisational policies and procedures To be responsible for the household budget and all individuals’personal finances. This will include taking responsibility for liaising with relevant bodies (who have appointee-ship duties for identified individuals) and provide documented spend and audit trails. To delegate responsibility for organisation and management tasks of the service, by identifying named individuals to carry out those tasks, to ensure that the service is fully operational at all times. To organise, manage and deploy staff without compromising on the quality of care being offered to the individuals, to ensure that the service is fully staffed at all times by designing and maintaining a full rota of staff duties and deployment. Provide an out of hours emergency service on a rota basis via the on call system To be responsible for the organisation of staff rotas to ensure that all absences are covered and accounted for and where necessary personally provide cover to ensure staff ratios are met. To ensure that all individual Personal Plans are in place and are delivered in the context of the multi-disciplinary programmes devised for each individuals by working directly with the Senior Management Team.
