Position: Business Development Manager - IT Managed Services

Background: Cloud/IT Managed Solutions e.g. Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Servers and Outsourced IT

Package: up to £65,000 + £65 Comms + Car Allowance + Holidays + Pension etc.

C2B Solutions Recruitment are excited to be working and partnered with one of the UK's leading IT Solutions & Services providers in the search for an experienced New Business Development Manager to evangelise their growing division, IT Solutions & Services.

Our client is arguable the leading IT Services provider in Europe. With over 3000 customers in more than 50 countries, our client offers a portfolio of Cloud & IT Solutions and Services to their clients, to empower their businesses by integrating and managing their IT. Some of the many solutions include: Cloud, Managed Services, Data Centre, Software, Flexible Resourcing, Managed Print Services, Network & Security & More

The successful Business Development Manager will be drawn in to new and existing clients to cross and upsell the Cloud/IT Managed Solutions portfolio which encompasses; Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Servers and Outsourced IT, NOC & Remote Management, Break/Fix, Application Management and DC Services.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 3+ years exposure of evangelising Cloud/Outsource IT Solutions offerings with a service wrap, in a direct sales position and will be the recognised person to both present at and deliver seminars, workshops and meetings on the client's IT offerings to prospects and nominated accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading sales engagement into named targeted accounts and be tasked to find and win new logos
  • To build and maintain a pipeline of new businesses opportunities through to completion.
  • Acting as a IT solution/services champion and evangelist to develop and maximise the uptake and deployment of solutions with new clients and within the account base.
  • Consult with clients in a face-to-face capacity to assess needs, aligning best-fit products and services
  • Support the project and transition teams during onboarding

What we're looking for:

  • Successful Sales career history with experience of working in a Services-driven and Managed Services Provider (MSP) in a consultative business development capacity
  • Strong sales experience of evangelizing Cloud and Managed Services offerings around AWS/Azure IaaS/PaaS
  • Strong new business track record; selling to customers of any size and driving annuity-based business.
  • Awareness of the wider IT and Technology market and competitive landscape
  • Able to drive internal engagement to increase the exposure of Cloud and Managed Services into existing customers whilst acquiring new-logo business
  • Strong sales and commercial acumen, with a significant drive for achievement.
  • Proven experience in winning complex infrastructure and services sales
  • Ability to engage up to, and including C-level executives

Salary: up to £130,000 (OTE 50/50)

Base: up to £65,000 plus 100% Commission: £65,000
