DATA ANALYSIS MANAGER - 45-60k dep on exp

InTechnology WIFI UK provides optimised wireless broadband solutions for telecom operators, smart cities, security, and enterprise customers and specialises in:

- Multiple Frequencies

- Environment

- Applications

- Topologies

- Wireless environments

A role within the Product Management department has arisen within this fast growing and exciting Company. InTechnology WiFi is collecting huge amounts of data from towns and cities and festivals, there is also the potential for other sources of data to arise.

As data’s potential arises it is a priority to look at analytics and also the trends and areas in which this plays. A keen detail in Data Protection and Compliance is a priority.


Key responsibilities in this role will include, but are not restricted to, the following:

·Manage and drive data strategy

·Manage the analytical tools required to present this data in the various formats required

·Identify and execute a complete data collection process

·Implement relevant policies and procedures

·Data Protection and GDPR Compliance knowledge

·Customer liaison and training


The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a data related role. This experience should ideally have been gained within a fast paced environment.

In addition to this, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills, attributes and experience:

·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative

·Commercially astute and business facing

·A focus upon delivery and process improvement is critical

·Excellent time management skills with a flexible and adaptable approach in order to ensure workload/priorities can be adjusted to meet business requirements as required

·Demonstrate tenacity with the ability to see the job through to completion and demonstrate good attention to detail

Data background and knowledge, including : -

- Principles of Data architecture and Data modelling

- Data Integration including ETL and API development

- Unix / Linux operating systems

- Data Protection and GDPR compliance

- Information Management

- Relational Databases (RDBMS) such as MySQL or MS SQL Server

- Knowledge or experience of Splunk or similar tool

- Knowledge or experience of Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau / QlikSense

- Data Warehouse Design principles

- Information Security (ISO27001)

·A background in and an understanding of managed services and associated products in particular data is an advantage with the capacity to learn about new products and services as required

·Support Product Development, Sales and Marketing

·Problem solver

·Willing to learn and pick up new skills

·Forward thinking

·Motivated self-starter, able to work on own initiative

·Pre-sales, bid and tender response

·Experience of WiFi or Telecomms sector is advantageous


Responsible for ensuring that they are aware of the security policies and procedures of the Information Security Management System (ISO27001) and how these specifically relate to the information resources they have access to.
