Sales & Marketing Coordinator


£19,000 – 21,000

Venatu Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with our client in recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator. The purpose of this role is to support the business by acting as the key interface, enhancing the communication between customers, field-based account handlers and marketing team.

Duties include

• Providing product information to customers

• Ensuring managers have access and are equipped with presentations and sales support tools.

• Ensure accuracy, completeness and alignment with web strategy when supplying content to customers.

• Coordinating and preparing for events, exhibitions, conferences and providing support when required on consumer facing events

• Attending events, exhibitions, conferences when required

• Assisting the marketing team with the timely distribution of marketing support and materials when required

• Ensuring meetings are properly equipped and prepared

• Business Development & support

• Coordinate & gather information for range reviews and customer proposals.

• Actively provide support to the account managers for the preparation of business development opportunities

• Production of new line forms

• Support the timely production of tenders

• Co-ordinate the sharing of information between UK marketing, sales, customer services and telemarketing to support customer initiatives.

• Creation of sales reports when required

• Liaise with CS team with new product selection for Customers

Skills, Experience & Competencies

• 1 or 2 years’ experience within a customer facing and or marketing role

• Awareness of customer sales and order functions

• Flexibility to multi task

• Proven administration experience in a fast-paced office environment

• Sound understanding and knowledge of base customer service/help desk functions

• Good understanding of relationships between key stakeholders and the customer

• Proof reading skills

• Confident and outgoing with the ability to communicate at all levels and develop productive relationships

• Willingness to learn new skills and develop knowledge

• Proficient with most operating systems including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel & ERP systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and appropriately with people at different levels

• Exceptional dependability, reliability and timekeeping

• Ability to work under pressure, organise own workload, set priorities and show a high level of initiative and adopt a problem-solving approach to work in order to meet deadlines

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to work both independently and part of a team

• Positive and flexible approach

• A willingness to learn, develop, undertake further training and have an adaptable working approach
