MTVH is one of the country`s largest providers of genuinely affordable local housing and is on target to deliver around 1000 homes per year by 2018/19.

The role
You will provide first class support to our MTVH Colleagues enabling them to support our Customers.

Application Analysts will become subject matter experts for the applications within our estate. You will be responsible for the support, configuration, and functional analysis of various products. You will be expected to support testing, incident management, problem management and run/coordinate small scale projects and deliverables across the application suite.

Working hours:
Working hours are 37.5 per week, usually between 08:00am and 18:00pm Monday to Friday. You may be required to work extra hours or weekends depending on project work and team commitments.

What you will be doing
-Undertake application reviews to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose and easily supportable
-Provide expert second and third line support to the Service desk responding to tickets in accordance with agreed SLA`s to ensure customer expectations are met
-Contribute and adhere to robust processes to make sure the transition of initiatives from project to BAU/Support is both effective and sustainable
-Work to SLA`s to ensure the day to day service to the business is both timely and effective
-Adhere to and contribute to the development of Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and plans to make sure that new products and releases are implemented with minimal impact to the business
-Submit and represent technical changes to the Change Board when required
-Creating and maintaining technical documentation for our applications
-Implementing, testing and integrating new applications
-Performing routine systems checks and upgrades in line with our release cycle
-Investigating and diagnosing system faults and errors
-Liaising with 3rd Party Vendors

Qualifications & Experience
Essential Technical
-Microsoft SQL SERVER
-Windows Server
-Microsoft Office 365
-SFTP Server

-Demonstrable track record of providing second line support for applications in a similar environment
-Experience of the implementation of applications
-Experience of working with third party suppliers and internal teams
-Exceptional communication skills
-As a minimum, a working knowledge of information security polices, processes and procedures

-Experience of carrying out functional analysis and production of specifications
-Experience of Agile and ITIL methodologies
-Experience in running small scale projects
