Location – Kings Lynn, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours
Capacity of role – Permanent role
Rate of pay - £10.00 - £14.00 p/h

Our client is an expanding and well respected company based close to Kings Lynn is currently recruiting for a Laser setter and operator to join there busy workshop team.
Candidates will be able to fulfil the requirements as set out within the below job description
Duties Include
• Complete daily Tube Laser operations including material picking, handling, machine loading, crane operation, part collection and bagging despatch.
• Responsible for completion of work in line with operation schedules as provided by the Tube Laser engineers / Manager, ensuring maximum productivity is achieved.
• Ensure that the warehouse and laser bays are clean and organised such that productivity is maximised.
• Ensure finishing products are to a high standard and comply with customer supplied design documents, standards are specifications to verify dimensions, materials and other requirements- coordinating with the team to resolve any errors or issues prior to production.
• Assist Tube Laser engineers during initial planning by advising on machine capabilities and where parameters may be preventative to the intended design or final product.
• Provide technical support to other team members, helping to identify any issues and develop effective solutions prior to final production.
• Checking of jobs files handed over by the Tube laser engineers, ensuring all handover information is as per the customer requirements are within the machines capability parameters.
• Attend daily production meetings to liaise with Tube Laser engineers/ manager and discuss planned operations and reporting of any issues that may arise and preventative to efficient working.
• Being the first point of contact for customer collections, ensuring that applicable documentation is handled and processed in line with company requirements.
• Working in accordance with the company Production and Quality Management Systems (BS EN 1090-2:2018 EXC2, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001), performing in-process and final goods inspections in line with relevant company procedures and work instructions.
• Being technically and commercially vigilant so that the company is not subject to risk or loss, always attaining to maximise profit and optimise and customer experience.
• Working under pressure and to tight deadlines is essentials.
