Our client, a household brand name and global market leader, is looking to source a talented Interim Financial Reporting Manager to join its fast-paced team. The role will have a specific focus on Tax Reporting and assist the Senior Manager in performing income tax accounting and reporting requirements, as well as support the Director on the company’s tax strategy. Whilst exposure to tax is desired, it is USGAAP experience that would be highly advantageous, coupled with a strong financial reporting background.

Main duties include:

• Preparing USGAAP based current and deferred provisions for local countries on an annual and quarterly basis

• Tracking and facilitation of non-US tax compliance engagements

• Reconciling non US tax payable accounts

• Tracking and maintaining inventories of income including maintenance of tax receipts

• Collaborating with local finance and external advisors

• Performing special projects relating to income tax accounting and compliance research and reporting

Key skills & experience required:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA etc.)

• At least a couple of years in IFRS or USGAAP reporting environments

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to analyse returns and cash tax reconciliations

• Strong excel knowledge

The role will likely be for 3 – 6 months, with potential for permanent employment afterwards, should the successful individual be a strong culture fit and prove to add value during their tenure.
