An Outstanding primary school is recruiting a Nursery Teacher to join their team in September. The school was labelled as Outstanding in their last OFSTED report and have a commitment to seeing all of their staff reach their full potential “Training and development for all staff is a priority. This has contributed to a skilled and enthusiastic staff team” taken from OFSTED.

The children have a thirst for learning and this is shown in the SATS results for 2018 where they were above the national average for all categories.

The role will suit both experienced teachers and NQT’s although you must be a UK qualified teacher to apply. This will be paid to scale.

You must have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS and be committed to preparing and planning engaging lesson plans for your classroom. You will also be expected to attend all relevant staff meetings and parent evenings.

Your responsibilities include:

* Preparing, planning and delivering engaging lesson plans that meet the EYFS guidelines.

* Ensuring attainment levels are met and end of year targets are completed.

* Ensure the monitoring and evaluation of teaching standards is of the highest quality.

* Maintain accurate progress records of pupils.

* Ensure a good working relationship with Teaching Assistants and other key workers is always maintained in a professional and courteous manner.

You will need:
* A full and relevant UK teaching qualification.
* An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework.
* A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
* To be fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid.
