About the Role
An exciting new opportunity has arisen with a fast growing and fast paced company dealing in IT and network infrastructure. As part of the company’s ongoing growth they are looking to bring on board a Business Developing Manager to upsell to existing accounts while developing new business relationships, to create their own pipeline of sales.
The Business Development Manager will be working within the sales and marketing team, with a wide range of clients across the UK. The primary focus for the role will be selling Cisco products to new and existing clients.
We are looking for a self-motivated professional who is looking to take responsibility and accountability for company growth. This person must be up for the challenge and hungry for progression as this role will create other opportunities within the business.
Job Responsibilities
* To be able to drive new business forward and to build strong relationships with key stake holders within the company.
* To be able to build strong relations with already existing clients to find opportunities to upsell when possible.
* To achieve commercial targets and KPI targets each quarter.
* Understanding of sales targets also being able to strategically plan and forecast to stakeholders within the company.
* To be able to take clients through the company’s sale cycle from “discovery to Close” within the CRM system.
* Be able to confidently asses and process new and existing business quotes.
* To communicate and update operational team on requirements needed for each client.
* Confident to lead client meetings and have strong presentation skills to create tailored business proposals to each client needs
* Flexibility of working hours and travel is a key requirement in this role.
Skills and Experience required
* Minimum of 3 year’s experience within a Business development role with a proven track record of Cisco sales.
* System knowledge and experience of Cisco LAN, WLAN and IP based communication solutions or equivalent.
* Full end-to-end understanding of IT networks.
* Experience and knowledge of preparing large multi-phase bids and tender returns.
* Target focused with the desire to meet and exceed company targets which will reflect in bonuses.
* Strong communicator to build client relations as well as key stakeholders in the business.
* Willing to go the extra mile with Clients and colleagues to finish the jobs on time and to high standards.
* Able to use Excel, Word and Power point when presentations and sharing information is needed.
