To find out more about our commitment to flexible working, take a look at our Flexible Working blog on LinkedIn: What you’ll be doing The successful candidate will: Direct large-scale or complex IT projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents and third parties Be accountable for one or more initiative Directly manage all aspects of the project life cycle and work with IT partners to oversee all phases of a project Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost and quality parameters Validate financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures Represent the project in various project governance and inter-department forums Engage with stakeholders at all levels ensuring their expectations are well managed Lead, manage and motivate a team of people with different areas of expertise and capability Produce and maintain a risk plan and manage issues to reduce impact Ensure project outputs meet agreed quality criteria Produce detailed project plans and schedules ensuring delivery against committed timelines. Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have: A consistent track record in managing the successful delivery of software development and infrastructure projects, ideally from project initiation phase until the handover to Business As Usual. Demonstrated ability in building project plans from a high level to a detailed schedule. The ability to track monitor and control project activity across multiple disciplines. The ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally. Experience leading technology projects on either Waterfall or Agile principles. Formal project management qualification ( PMP, Prince2). Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant Project Management experience.
