Our IT teams work across the business and with our external partners to build, manage and support a secure and reliable IT service to meet these exciting plans. As part of this investment, we are adopting a Service Integration and Management (“SIAM”) approach to managing both business and information technology services. The intention is to seamlessly integrate services to provide a single business-facing IT organisation that meets business requirements . This is a move away from managing technologies and infrastructure, to one of managing suppliers and services. By making this change the organisation will become more agile and flexible, able to scale services up and down as required to support business growth and expansion.

The Role

This role’s main purpose is to support the Technical Transformation Manager with strategy, portfolio, delivery and leadership.

You will be responsible for;

* Working with your business unit leadership team, develop an IT Strategy that meets the needs of the business for a 3 to 5 year period and then perform an annual refresh of the strategy to ensure it remains fit for purpose

* Helping the Technical Transformation Manager to develop a portfolio of change that delivers the business unit strategic plan

* Maintaining a full view and overall control of the business units change portfolio, ensuring that all projects, risks, issues, business demand and delivery challenges are managed effectively

* Working with the Service Delivery team, develop and manage the delivery framework across the portfolio

* Developing and delivering realistic, workable solutions that support the customers' needs and implement them successfully

* Managing a team of IT change professionals and Technical Delivery Managers

The Person

* Strong experience of delivering technical business change projects involving definition and change of operating models

* Strong familiarity with project management financials, inclusive of estimation, costing, tracking estimates versus actuals

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
