My client, a leading, global supplier are seeking a marketing communications manager to join their team, based in their UK head office located in Basildon, Essex.


* 35,000 pa

* Travel - both domestic and international

Key duties:

* Lead the planning and execution of major exhibitions throughout Europe

* Work with the Commercial and Distribution teams to identify, plan and execute trade shows and conferences across the region.

* Plan and roll out outbound and inbound marketing campaigns and PR activities.

* Create engaging content for emails, brochures, webpages, landing pages, adverts, social media, press releases, etc.

* Create, update and localize collaterals (brochures, videos, presentations, adverts, etc.).

* Work with external agencies where appropriate to deliver campaigns within defined budgets and deadlines.

* Work closely with Product Marketing to:

* Create localised content for the website

* Create promotional messages for the marketing campaigns and formulate content for the website and digital campaigns.

* Support with product launches through campaign development and PR.

* Work with the Strategic Marketing Analyst to identify segments to target and build GDPR compliant lists.

* Work with the Digital Marketing Specialist to:

* Develop and optimize digital campaigns in line with campaign activities, to include PPC, display advertising, and paid social.

* Define and deliver a sustainable SEO strategy.

* Identify advertising opportunities to support campaigns and product launches

* Negotiate opportunities and rates with the trade media.

What you will need:

* Copywriting experience

* Experience leading digital and/or traditional campaigns.

* Experience in planning and execution of events, trade shows and conferences

* Knowledge and experience of lead generation and CRM marketing tools including campaign results measurement tools.

* Previous experience managing projects and driving change.

* Track record of process improvement to drive ROI and market visibility.

* B2B/Technical background

Advantageous if you have the following:

* Degree or diploma in Marketing or related subjects

* Experience in an industrial multinational company.

* Experience in marketing of industrial equipment (hydraulics, electronics, software).

* Knowledge of (url removed) CRM, HubSpot, and Google Analytics.
