Our global procurement team are looking to recruit an additional Category Buyer who will work closely with a team of experienced Category Managers to support the development and execution of category strategies that ensure Specsavers achieves the greatest commercial benefit from its supplier relationships.

The role requires a commercially astute individual who is able to translate the requirements of the stakeholder into achievable goals and obligations for prospective suppliers, help select the optimal supplier and then define the agreement between Specsavers and the preferred supplier.

Ideal candidates will have experience in working in a retail / FMCG procurement function on Service categories, be commercially savvy, with strong interpersonal skill that is able to work to deadlines with perseverance and emotional strength – if you have your Level 4 CIPS, even better!
