Certes are currently working on behalf of our High Profile client who is looking to recruit a Vendor Manager / Vendor Relationship Manager to work on site in London. In this role you will be responsible for managing the commercial performance and contractual obligations of applications of workspace partners, aspects of our other Tier 1 Managed Service Providers (MSP), and supporting the governance interface between the MSPs
What will your main responsibilities involve?
*Ensure contractual obligations and requirements are met and controls are in place to effectively manage the contract to FCA and L&G standards
*Manage contract services for Business stakeholders, resolving issues as required. Manage contract changes as per the commercial and contractual change process
*Proactive monitoring of Tier 1 performance through commercials and SLA's. Investigating and supporting the resolution of MSP failures
*Identify opportunities to increase MSP performance through various channels such as demand planning, Innovation, MI and SLA's
*Ensure timely, appropriate and meaningful deliverables and MI to our Business stakeholders regarding all Tier 1 MSPs
*Manage workloads through the team to meet key deliverables for all stakeholders, whilst developing team members with cross-functional knowledge and skills, and an opportunity to take on additional tasks as the team evolves. Evolve a best-practice high-performing operational excellence function
*Where disputes arise in the delivery of Tier 1 contracted services, lead the resolution of disputes with the minimum disruption to the relationship and service whilst protecting commercial interests
*Govern and track payments to Tier 1 MSPs, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions ensuring auditability of financial transactions. Direct the use of best practise procedures and processes, to control risks linked to Tier 1 SRM activity; including compliance with group policies, legal and regulatory requirements and adherence to professional, ethical behaviours
*Ensure that any Risks, including any deviations in performance from contractual requirements, are clearly identified, logged, and reported into the appropriate Governance forum and logs, including any mitigating factors which may be significant
