Part Time Finance Officer - 30 hours - 4 month contract - ASAP Start - Central Swansea
Your new company
My client is a well established public sector organisation who during a period of change and restructure are looking for a Part Time Finance Officer to work 30 hours per week. The initial contract is until the end of August - this may then be reviewed and extended.
Your new role
The new role will mainly consist of bank and cash reconciliation and administration of bank accounts day to day to help ascertain new system during the period of change.
There will be a need to assist other members of the department including:
Assisting Business and Finance department with general finance\administration support. For example, invoice administration, payment/receipt processing and journal entry.
Bank reconciliation of company bank accounts.
Maintaining and recording petty cash system.
Administration of cash and cheque records for scheme based bank and cash accounts.
Recording of income and expenditure and bank reconciliation.
Administration of cash records
Recording of income and expenditure and reconciliation.
Financial Monitoring of cash record systems
Liaising with Operational Managers and assist with Financial Audit information
General telephone enquiries for the business and finance department.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be numerical, have experience working within a finance office and be happy to commit to a four month temporary contract.
