Project Manager - Edinburgh - £400-£500 p.d - Outside IR35 - Business and IT Projects Harvey Nash are looking for a number of Project Management interims to assist our client with a number of projects that intertwine business with IT solutions. Key parts of this role require both a business skill set and knowledge of IT projects, products and methodology so we are looking for a contractor that would describe themselves as a Hybrid PM. Our client currently works in a waterfall methodology but are keen to move into Agile where possible so we are keen to talk to candidates that have worked in both ways. Essential Criteria Must be able to talk to technical teams such as development teams but likewise engage with the business (hence the hybrid nature) Must have dealt with 3rd parties - ideally have managed that relationships and the challenges that can come with it and be able to resolve issues. Need to be self-sufficient - no micro management in this role and wouldn't suit contractors who need this Understands and manage the delivery of complex programmes Leading and coordinating teams of diverse technical and non-technical resources across multiple geographic sites and engaging effectively with external 3rd party service providers Proven stakeholder management skills. Experience of managing projects with business and technology deliverables and be able to effectively communicate changes to 3rd party providers. Relevant project management qualifications or training. Good understanding of the Financial sector - sound business acumen and judgment; ability to see and communicate technology challenges in business terms; ability to understand and deliver business value.
