Hays have well established relationships with a number of schools in Kent who we work with on a regular basis to provide them with staff to cover long and short term supply needs. Three Secondary schools in the North/West Kent area are looking for DT teachers to provide long term support through excellent teaching. You will have the opportunity to work at good schools with clear lesson objectives in a great learning environment.
Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work in a school as a DT teacher. As a supply teacher, working through Hays Education, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils. Schools in the North/West Kent are looking for adaptable teachers that can ensure an encouraging and safe learning environment for pupils. You must have QTS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a Secondary Supply Teacher you will need to have qualified teacher status, NQT or be looking to complete your induction year. Recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years is also required along with knowledge on recent curriculum changes. As it is a school environment, a flexible and adaptable approach is essential to ensure an engaging learning environment and effective classroom management. As an individual you should be driven to make a difference, to overcome barriers, to be relentless in enabling all students to make exceptional progress.
