This Trust was formally set up on 1st June 2016 with the aim of building on the solid foundation established by the previous PRU. They operate from at least twelve different locations within Devon and Cornwall which provides education and support services throughout the community to support pupils to access education in schools, community centre's, medical facilities or their own homes.

The successful candidates will have experience of working with young people who have complex needs as well as their own resilience to support their young people on a daily basis. You will contribute to the planning and implementation of the LOTC programme in a collaborative way with LOTC colleagues and Subject Coordinator. To deliver the outdoor learning programme within the framework of policies and procedures within policies.

To lead the delivery of outdoor learning programmes appropriate to groups of vulnerable and challenging pupils.

To facilitate a weekly after or before school club.

Skills & Experience:
- Experience of working with young people who may display challenging behaviour.
- Experience of working in an outdoor education context.
- Understanding of how young people learn in a practical context.
- In depth knowledge of a range of outdoor activities.
- Understanding of risk management procedures in an outdoor context. Reasonable level of education in literacy, numeracy and ICT.
- Qualified to lead a range of outdoor activities for young people such as orienteering, moorland walking, climbing, gorge walking and kayaking.
- Awareness of the national curriculum.

32.5 hours per week

This school is based at Charlton Lodge, Tiverton, EX16. Currently in the construction and refurbishment stages the school will be ready for September 2019.
