We have an exciting ongoing temporary position available working as a Finance Assistant for a leading global manufacturer based in Sunbury.

Immediate start! Monday 8th April..

This position is to start work immediately, with a potential of securing a permanent position for the right candidate.

Working within the Finance department you will play a crucial role in supporting with;

- Bank postings, reconciliations, inter-company posting and reconciliations, posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations

- Assisting with month end reporting using our Oracle based reporting system

- Raising recharge invoices, cover for purchase ledger assistant and other adhoc reporting

- General office administration.

The ideal candidate would have some exposure to working in a finance department and demonstrate the following;

- Must be able to demonstrate initiative and have excellent attention to detail

- Must have good Excel skills and knowledge of working on Accounting systems, although full training will be provided

- Excellent written and spoken English

- A positive approach to team work and work in general

Hours of work; Monday to Friday office hours = 40hrs per week

Hourly pay rate; £10ph - £15ph dependent upon experience, paid weekly in arrears
