Airflow Cooling Ltd specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of Mechanical HVAC/R systems and has a track record of delivering challenging mechanical projects up to a value of £750k within the health care, education, leisure, food retail and commercial sectors.

Due to continued success and growth of the business we have an opening for a HVAC Project Manager to join our team.

HVAC Project Manager

As the HVAC Project Manager you will be working on projects between £50k - £250k in the health care, education, leisure, food retail and commercial sectors.

This role will consist of managing from pre-construction of procurement, delivery, commissioning and handover for all HVAC services.

A large part of this role is supporting the Managing/Operations Director by taking control of projects yourself so previous experience running projects will be critical.

Role & Responsibilities

* Compile tender/bid activity and carry out project estimating

* Review technical design aspects of system proposals

* Attend pre-start and project meetings

* Produce and manage project H&S plans, RAMS etc

* Produce and agree project programmes

* Coordinate services with other trades

* Source and procure plant items i.e. air handling units, refrigeration and air conditioning, etc

* Source and procure sub-contractors: ductwork, controls, air conditioning, refrigeration, pipework and insulation

* Check and sign off invoices

* Snag and quality control installations

* Manage all commissioning activities

* Produce O&M manuals

* Prepare and submit monthly applications and variations

Qualifications, Experience & Key Skills

* Technical knowledge of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

* Minimum 5 years experience of working as an HVAC Project Manager with an HNC/HND in building services OR equivalent time served and industry qualifications

* Possess SMSTS & CSCS Card

* Managing of site operatives and sub-contractors

* Commissioning and handover

Remuneration

* Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

* Company Vehicle

* Performance Related Bonus Scheme

* Pension Scheme

* Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, 8.30am – 5pm Mon to Fri (with out of hours support)

* Holidays: 33 days Including bank holidays per year
