A fantastic opportunity for a Legal Assistant has arisen to join our amazing client in Gerrard’s Cross. The ideal candidate will need to have at least 2 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary working in Property looking to remain as Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary working for a fantastic company.

Key Responsibilities:

- The main responsibility of the Legal Assistant will be to provide secretarial and administrative support to the team and partners as well as taking initial client enquiries ensuring work sent to clients is correctly prepared.

- The successful Legal Assistant will be preparing initial draft documents, reports and drafting letters as well as keeping client databases up to date and general administration tasks.

- An ability to prepare necessary Land Registry application forms, SDLT returns and deal with any follow up.

- Have an ability to carry out both audio and copy typing duties as well as carry out diary management, organise internal and external meetings as well as answer the telephone on behalf of Lawyers.

Key Attributes:

- Experience of working within a Property Department of a Law Firm or relevant legal qualifications would be preferred/secretarial experience in a Law firm is desirable.

- Knowledge, experience and passion for property law and practices as well as a team orientated approach during the absence of other legal assistants is essential to provide high quality support at all times.

- Impeccable communication, grammar and IT skills is essential with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Oyez.

- A confident individual with an ability to multi task and work calmly under pressure.
