Groomfield Recruitment are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger to join our innovative client located in Birmingham - an IMMEDIATE START is available.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business who have some very prestigious clientele.

The position is a temp to permanent position.

Role Responsibilties:

• Stock invoice matching and posting

• Logging and chasing resolution of invoice queries via internal logging systems

• Setting up of new vendors, ensuring all checks are followed

• Posting intercompany invoices

• Dealing with suppliers queries courteously and efficiently

• Raise internal credits from shortages reports, and send copies to suppliers

• Supplier statement reconciliations

• Requesting bank details from suppliers and updating systems, ensuring all suppliers records are completely up to date

• Filing of authorised and paid invoices, payments and remittances

• Month end duties i.e. reconciliation of key supplier statements for provisions

• Chase up VAT invoices which have been paid on a pro-forma basis

• Additional ad-hoc duties to support the Finance department

Skills and Experience:

• Must be able to use SAP or similar Warehouse Systems

• Must use own initiative, as well as, work as part of a team

• Have excellent communication skills

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm

£10.00 per hour - paid weekly.
