Payroll Manager

Based in Dover

£25,000 - £30,000 Per Annum (Pro-rata)

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join an expanding firm of accountants as their Payroll Manager.

Working in a key role at our client’s modern Dover office, the successful candidate will be responsible for the processing of payrolls for a diverse client base.

Applications are welcomed from candidates who are looking to work either on a full-time basis or a minimum of 25 hours per week. The salary for this role is £25,000 to £30,000 per annum (pro-rata if working part-time).

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Actioning starters and leavers.

* Processing pay, making PAYE and National Insurance deductions.

* Dealing with CIS returns, where relevant.

* Providing auto-enrolment pensions advice to clients and their employees.

* Ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment legislation.

* Processing weekly and monthly payroll on SAGE.

* Uploading documents onto cloud-based system.

* Raising invoices for payroll services and liaising with colleagues in the billings team.

* Where necessary, meeting with clients to advise on payroll provision for new clients and improving service for existing clients.

Person Specification:

* Possess strong payroll experience.

* Knowledgeable in the use of SAGE software.

* Experience of processing CIS returns is highly beneficial.

* Ideally have a background in a professional services environment, however experience of processing a diverse and high-volume payroll will be considered.
