ENGIE are recruiting for a Belthorn House, Walker Park, Blackburn, BB1 2QE to be based at Belthorn House, Walker Park, Blackburn, BB1 2QE. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:00 - 16:30. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:

We require a fully reliable Gas Compliance Supervisor who can work on own initiative or within a team environment. The role will be part office based and part on the tools. The candidate will need to produce high-quality reports of their findings, estimates, audits and compliance documents. The role will be based 1-2 days in the office, and rest of the week on tools.

Demonstrate Gas competences with all relevant qualifications

*

Been in the Industry for a minimum of 5 years

*

Audit engineers and documentation

*

Take action on Warning Notice’s ensuring all actions are closed down in a timely manner

*

Distributing the latest updates and compliance information, delivering toolbox talks

*

Carry out Maintenance and Reactive Calls

*

Entered onto the company Call out ROTA(9-10 weeks in a year)

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

*

Approved and formal apprenticeship served in relevant skill area or a minimum of 5 years relevant and practical experience within a similar industry

*

Current commercial gas qualifications – Installation, service, repair, test - COCN1, CPN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICAE1, CDGA1 or TPCP1A

*

Has experience and a good understanding of Mechanical equipment and Servicing

*

Preferable to have gas catering/Oil/LPG qualifications although not essential

*

Current Electrical qualifications highly desirable, although not essential. C&G 2330 and 2356 or valid equivalent

Knowledge and skills:

*

Sound awareness of risk assessment & working safely with equipment

*

Sound knowledge of Health & Safety including ISO 9001 & 14,001

*

Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate to trade/ skill

*

Competent in using Word and Excel documents.
