Our IT teams work across the business and with our external partners to build, manage and support a secure and reliable IT service to meet these exciting plans. As part of this investment, we are adopting a Service Integration and Management (“SIAM”) approach to managing both business and information technology services. The intention is to seamlessly integrate services to provide a single business-facing IT organisation that meets business requirements. This is a move away from managing technologies and infrastructure, to one of managing suppliers and services. The Role

As part of the increasing dynamic and evolving IT Service Delivery function the IT Service Continuity Manager will develop and maintain Aldermore IT Service Continuity plans. You will make sure that if an unforeseen event occurs Aldermore will continue to provide an outstanding customer service. This role is pivotal to the Bank, as you will be working closely with the senior leadership team to prevent interference and make sure that we continue to maintain customer satisfaction. You will help design, develop and manage service resilience capability across a mixture of on premise, cloud based and 3rd party service providers.

You will be responsible for;

* Having a strong knowledge of relevant standards, regulation and future direction of ITSC and ITDR

* Designing, maintaining and communicating service continuity plans for identified business critical systems to ensure ongoing service provision during disaster or similar events

* Ensuring the resilience capability of the organisation aligns to business continuity requirements. Performing business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters

* Overseeing DR testing process managed by an internal testing function and point of contact for third parties

* Attending incident reviews for high priority issues, resilience failures and multiple service impacting incidents

The Person

* Demonstrable DR experience within Service Continuity/Service Resilience disciplines

* Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skills are a must with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff at all levels

* Thorough understanding of IT Service Management. ITIL Foundation certification mandatory ITIL Intermediate/Expert level certification

* Broad knowledge of Windows platforms, SQL, Storage, Virtual Machines and Citrix environments

* Ability to influence outcomes often at a senior management level

* Experience working across the Service Management lifecycle to implement and refine underpinning Service Continuity controls within other Service Management processes

* Background in financial services would be beneficial
