Tradewind Manchester are currently recruiting on behalf of a two form entry Primary School in Oldham to start after Easter until the Summer 2019. This is a full-time, long-term role with a salary from £60 per day.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

• Hold a degree/Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification

• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

• Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained

• Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the role:

This OFSTED ‘Outstanding’ primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their KS2 department, mainly within Year 4. You would be expected to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with behaviour needs, in support of the class teacher. You will be helping the pupil to engage in their learning and stay focused on their work.

You must be a Graduate/trained teaching assistant with a focus in mental health, care or special needs. Experience working with Special Needs previously or training in Moving and Handling or Team Teach is desirable but not essential.
