We have been asked by one of our Liverpool clients to source a brilliant Teacher of Physical Education to work within their establishment. The school is a mixed secondary school with pupils aged 11 to 18. The establishment is a school of first choice and is very focused on the children, meaning the educational quality is superb; the facilities are outstanding and support the level of learning and teaching that occurs within. The environment is lively and feedback from staff is usually exceptional, with regards to all aspects of the school. The school has won many awards, which highlights the success of both staff and students, and they continuously strive to improve their standards. This role as Teacher of PE really is a super opportunity, don’t wait to snap it up! The position is full- time, Monday- Friday (8:30-3:00). It will commence from 23rd April and the duration will be until the end of the academic year at least, meaning it is a longer-term position. It will be teaching girls PE from Year 7 through to Year 11. The pay will be dependant on your teaching scale, experience and ability, however it will range between £110- £150 per day. This is a temporary position, unless you make a good impression and the school wish to take you on permanently.
In order to be considered for the position you will need to meet the following criteria:
- You have a QTS or an educational equivalent
- You can teach the subject up to KS4
- You have knowledge of, and are up to date with, the current curriculum
- You have excellent classroom management skills and discipline
- You wish to make a positive difference within the classroom
- You have a current, up to date, DBS, preferably on the up date service
