Brighton is a key strategic location within the Hays IT business in the South East and this well-established team is at the start of an exciting growth curve. Digital firms in Brighton continue to grow by more than 14% a year, while the sector in Brighton alone is experiencing jobs growth at more than 10 times the rate of the wider UK economy. The Hays IT business consists of three distinct areas; Digital Technology, Projects & Change and Infrastructure and with commitment from the highest level, we are actively recruiting to grow each of the teams. As the UK economy continues its' digital transformation, the South East and Brighton in particular remains at the vanguard of exciting new areas including Data Analytics, Cyber Security and Software Development, affording recruiters the chance to work on these jobs of the future. Brighton is already home to a very high concentration of digital advertising, marketing agencies and gaming studios, the digital tech sector is growing at pace across Sussex. The office boasts a diverse mix of organisations from a thriving SME sector to a large concentration of corporates, two Universities and a number of large government/ public sector employers. Brighton is a high profile location within the South East, and we are looking to grow both our IT Contracts team as well as appoint to permanent desks in BI & Data/ Development. Your new role
You will join a large team of expert IT & Digital Technology recruiters across the South East with a dedicated focus across on growing business in the Brighton and wider Sussex region. The Brighton Technology team have seen 20%+ growth so far this year and with a growing demand for permanent/ contract recruitment across the region, this is ideal moment to seize this opportunity. You will lead from the front, enhancing existing relationships whilst winning new business in order to maximise revenue growth on your desk. The Brighton office has over 40 expert cross specialist consultants creating a dymanic environment where further leadership opportunities could potentially available for those seeking further progression in time.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be highly ambitious, successful and possibly an already experienced recruiter seeking an opportunity to make the next move forward in your career, motivating, leading and growing a team. However you do not need to currently be an IT recruiter - if you are successful in your field we will provide you with world class training. You will be a talented recruiter with a proven ability in a very competitive professional services market. You'll possess the determination to drive the expansion of this specialism, support your colleagues' development and enjoying working as part of a growing team.
